The Premium Gold Story

I am both excited and proud to be involved with this fantastic brand that is relatively new to the retail market. In 1999, after a serious illness caused by industrial contamination of the building where Deborah Miller was employed, it was realized that her immune system was shutting down. Her pancreas, liver, thyroid, and kidneys were barely functioning. She developed toxic encelopathy of the brain. Her body malabsorbed all digested products, so the mineral and nutrition values were not being utilized. Her weight jumped up 60 lbs and her IQ went from 149 to 62. A complete shutdown was happening, and no help to be found in her home state. Deborah spent 16 weeks in a specialty environmental clinic with a stringent detoxification program, and then struggled to get some normalcy back in her life. During this time, the family’s private health insurance company exited the state of North Dakota, and no replacement coverage could be found. So this illness took on the form of further hardship. Deborah’s attitude was; I can still package flax! Slowly, utilizing alternative health and well-being changes, diet and traditional medicine, Deborah’s life was returning. She credits the fact that her faith is strong, and that she is a daily flaxseed and Lignan user. The combination of flaxseed and super concentrated lignans were key in bringing Deborah back to a healthy state.

Their milled and whole seed products had been sold on the traveling retail show market since 1999 under some very recognizable names. In the fall of 2005, The Premium Gold team moved into their new facilities built right on the farm in central North Dakota and started packaging under their own Premium Gold Brand. The Premium Gold processing facilities are FDA, State, Kosher, and Organic certified and/or inspected.
